following the considerable restrictions imposed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the Porsche Museum will be closed until 15 February 2021. 25 years of the Porsche Boxster The mid-engine is one of Porsche's successful technical concepts for series and racing vehicles. The 550 and 718 racing cars use this engine configuration, as did the 914 later. For almost 25 years, the mid-engine has been firmly established in the Porsche Boxster model range. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Boxster, the Porsche Museum will be showing the history of the successful mid-engine roadster and its predecessors as part of a special show from March 30, 2021.
