Porsche Centre Bahrain launches Approved Pre-Owned Car CentreExtending the heritage of customer excellence

Manama. Porsche Centre Bahrain, a division of Behbehani Brothers w.l.l., today unveiled a new chapter in the brand’s successful establishment with the opening of a new Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Car Centre which has been built from concept to opening within 10 months.

The new state-of-the-art facility is located in Sitra near Porsche Centre Bahrain and occupies more than 5,000 square feet of premium space, which includes dedicated showrooms for approved pre-owned cars, as well as various visitor information points.

Porsche Approved is the mark of distinction awarded to pre-owned vehicles which meet the brand’s high quality standards. The official certification, following a 111-item checklist and the carrying out of any necessary repairs (in line with the strict Porsche quality-control criteria), guarantees that pre-owned cars presented in the showroom meet the very high quality standards set by the Stuttgart-based manufacturer, therefore ensuring pleasure in driving, good quality, safety and stability of value.

Speaking at the launch of the landmark new showroom Colin Sattar, Brand Manager of Porsche Centre Bahrain, said: “We are extremely pleased to officially inaugurate our new Porsche Approved car centre here today. It heralds a new dawn for prospective customers in the Kingdom who can now purchase a pre-owned Porsche with complete confidence, knowing the car has been tested to meet the brand’s exacting standards of excellence.

“More than 70 per cent of all Porsches ever built are still on the road today. This record value speaks for itself and our new showroom dedicated for pre-owned cars is a proof of our trust in the success of this programme and a further step to expand the Porsche product offering to our local customers.”

“Since the soft opening of our new state-of-the-art car centre, a month ago, sales of pre-owned vehicles in Bahrain have doubled. This is clearly a testament of the demand for such a facility which provides dedicated customer service experience, focused on the purchase of pre-owned vehicles. As well as the service element, we are offering customers a two-year warranty on models purchased from the showroom until end of November 2014,” added Sattar.

The pre-owned car centre opening follows an exciting seven months for Porsche in Bahrain, with the launch of the world’s first sports car in the compact SUV segment; the Macan in April, the recent release of the new Boxster and Cayman GTS model line and the unveiling of the all new Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo in October. The pre-owned facility will offer enthusiasts a selection of the aforementioned models as supply allows.
