2023 Classic Restoration Competition – Winners

The Porsche Classic Restoration Competition was back for its third season, which showcased classic expertise from Porsche Centres across the country.

Ten Porsche Centres took on the challenge of transforming their unique Porsche Classics by restoring vehicle elements including the engine, body, brakes, suspension and interior.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants on a successful season.

Porsche Centre Edmonton claimed its first victory by restoring a 1987 911 Carrera with historical signatures, honouring both Wetzlaugk family and the Porsche legacy.

  • Outstanding West and Popular Vote Award: Porsche Centre Saskatchewan - 1958 Porsche 356 A
  • Outstanding East: Porsche Lauzon – 1981 911 Super Carrera
  • Marketing Award: Porsche Centre Winnipeg – 1976 911 S Targa

Canada’s Second Porsche Classic Restoration Competition

In 2020 and 2021, twelve Porsche Centres from across the country competed in Canada’s second Porsche Classic Restoration Competition. Porsche Centre Saskatchewan claimed its second victory by restoring a 1960 356 B Cabriolet, affectionately named Louise.

Canada’s First Porsche Classic Restoration Competition

In 2019, Porsche hosted its first-ever Porsche Classic Restoration Competition, with the winner crowned at Destination Porsche in Mont-Tremblant, QC. Porsche Centre Saskatchewan rose to the top with their perfect rebuild of a 1964 Porsche 356. After pouring 1800 hours into the project, the result was nothing short of incredible.
